wouldn't it be cool if to control a game you could actually control parts of the charter's body. so like the set up would be like it is now wasd, and the mouse. one button on the mouse would be an action. but when you move the mouse it is more like moving a head. you can only move the head so far to the left and right and up and down. when you move your head it changes your view as well as let you see you body in front of you like you are looking through the eyes of the charter.
but that is not all when you press and hold another button on the mouse and the mouse now controls the waist you pull back and your charter leans back. push forward and you can get to a point that you are actually leaning down. what makes it fun is if you hit back and jump at the same time you will jump backwards, i know wow i can do that now. but with the waist control you jump back and lean back you you will do a back flip increasing you range of motion, note the same with the other directions you can do cart weals and summer salts all those fun things.
another part is that to attack will take two hits to the action button one to ready the weapon and the other to actually attack. but then with this more complex system you can end up doing things like stepping into someone and pushing them over.
i don't know this is just a thought that popped into my head tonight. would it not be cool to be able to run on walls, be able to roll with the punches, and even be tripped up by doing too many things at once or even by a rock that is sitting on the ground if you hit it just right.
i know most of this is a pipe dream but if any one knows any game that is like this, please tell me. i would love to find out what is out there and see how the gaming community is developing in this way.

coding slowly
progress is slow...
i know if you wanted to do it you would have it done by now. i have one slight problem, i have to do it right the first time. where is the problem with that? there are so many right ways that i have a problem deciding. see that is part of what spawned this endeavour. a series of stories i need to write that are all about "what if?" and that is just where my mind gets stuck most of the time what if this what if that. if one of them is a bad decision then i will be kicking my self later for it.
any way working on learning cgi and seeing where that will take me, hopefully it will take me far. all i can do is keep working. oh i should note another reason why i am slow. i work on up-keeping a website for a living.
when you get home i usually just want a break from code...

The Begging of it All
And it began. Well to tell the truth it began a few years ago with a story idea. A story that others contribute to, to continue the story, and now it has evolved to the idea for a site where people can contribute their own stories to share with the world. right now this site is in it's infancy. the site has begun to be constructed and planed out. now comes the work to program it...
yea i know that is not hard but at times it is when you are trying to do it in your own time and you have so many other things you could be doing. that is when distraction can take root and ruin a project. not to menchen i have other asperations in my life that will conflict with this. what can i say some times:
